Water Tank Cleaning Services in Vasant Kunj

Vasant Kunj's pocket layout

Vasant Kunj was developed with large DDA housing organised into sectors and pockets, with multi-storey flat blocks set around shared green spaces. Alongside the DDA pockets are enclaves of independent houses, and the urban villages of Masoodpur and Kishangarh, where buildings are denser and often rented floor by floor.

Shared tanks in DDA pockets

In a typical DDA block, water is stored in terrace tanks shared between flats, sometimes with a block-level sump. The challenge is coordination: if one flat wants the tanks cleaned and the others don't book, the shared tank stays as it is.

What works best:

• The RWA or a block representative books all the shared tanks for the pocket on one day.
• Residents are notified in advance to store water.
• The cost is split between flats — with five or more tanks, the cleaning subtotal gets 15% off, and any transport charge applies only once.

Many RWAs set this up as an annual contract so it happens twice a year without anyone having to organise it each time. See society water tank cleaning.

Independent houses and enclaves

Houses in Vasant Kunj's enclaves usually have a sump and rooftop tanks. A 1,000-litre rooftop tank costs ₹599; a 3,001–5,000 litre sump costs ₹1,599.

Masoodpur and Kishangarh

The urban villages next to Vasant Kunj have dense multi-storey buildings with many rooftop tanks and rented floors. For landlords, booking every tank in the building at once is the cheapest per-tank option, and photos help reassure tenants.

Tips for Vasant Kunj residents

• Ask your RWA when the shared tanks were last cleaned; if nobody knows, it's time.
• Check terrace tank lids — shared tanks are often left with loose or missing covers.
• Fill buckets before the slot; shared tanks supply several flats.

DDA flats and independent homes

Vasant Kunj's DDA pockets have flats with their own rooftop or loft tanks and shared underground tanks, while the farmhouse and Kishangarh areas have larger sumps. Individual flats can book their own tank; RWAs can plan the shared tanks with us. Same-day cleaning is available when a slot is free: choose today's date in the booking form (it shows today's slots until the daily cut-off), or call +91 93546 50395 to check.
