Choose this option for any rooftop, loft or overhead tank whose maximum capacity is from 501 to 1,000 litres. That includes:

• 750-litre plastic tanks, often used in single flats, shops and small offices. (Tanks up to 500 litres cost ₹499.)
• 1,000-litre tanks — the standard size for a family flat or a single floor of a builder-floor building.
• Small loft tanks above bathrooms and kitchens.

Where you'll usually find a 1,000-litre tank

Look for a black or blue cylindrical plastic tank on the terrace, often on a small brick or steel platform, with a pipe from the motor and an overflow pipe near the top. In builder-floor buildings there's usually one per floor side by side on the roof — check the pipe that runs to your flat if you're not sure which is yours.

What to expect on the day

A tank of this size typically takes about 45–60 minutes from draining to handover, depending on how much sludge has built up. You'll be without water from this tank during that time, so store a few buckets beforehand. Our team will need access to the roof and the motor switch.
