Choose this package for underground reservoirs with a maximum capacity from 15,001 to 20,000 litres:

• Main reservoirs for housing societies and group housing.
• Storage for schools, hospitals, hotels and commercial complexes.
• Fire-and-domestic combined reservoirs where the domestic chamber falls in this range (fire tanks are cleaned only with your facility team's approval).

A reservoir 4 m × 3.5 m inside with 1.3 m of water holds about 18,200 litres.

Reservoir cleaning for societies and institutions

A reservoir of this size usually supplies a large number of people, and its condition affects every tap in the building. Key planning points:

• Chambers. If the reservoir is divided, each chamber is cleaned (and priced) separately so one can keep supplying the building.
• Notice. Residents or staff should be told the date and expected window in advance.
• Refill. Confirm how the reservoir will refill — municipal supply hours, borewell or tanker — so the building isn't left short.
• Records. Every chamber gets before-and-after photos for your maintenance file.

What large reservoirs need

At this scale, sludge removal is the bulk of the work. Reservoirs fed by tankers or borewells can accumulate a thick layer that, if left, is constantly drawn into the pumps that supply every overhead tank. Our team removes it with a vacuum machine and cleans around the suction pipe and foot valve so the pump doesn't pick up dislodged debris when restarted.

Safety

Large reservoirs are confined spaces with limited airflow. Ventilation before entry, a person at the opening throughout, and a cordon around the manhole are standard on every job.

₹3,599 covers an underground tank of 15,001–20,000 litres. Draining a tank this size takes time, so we usually start early and ask the building to use water sparingly the evening before, which leaves less to pump out.
